This week, my goal was to learn how to make a Granny Square. Many traditional crochet projects use Granny Squares and it seems like a relevant skill while I learn how to make my own crochet projects. To do so, I found a video on Youtube that guided me through the process.
This is the Granny Square I was able to produce. It was my second attempt, and I think it turned out pretty good.
My goal for next week is to find a good tutorial for a project that is suitable for a beginner. I have began to think of ideas, and I think I will try to find easy tutorials for a toque, a pair of shorts, or a simple top.
